During Summer term, Year 5 are learning about Rainforests.  We will be focusing on the climate, location and the people who live in these fascinating tropical jungles. The children will be reading tribal stories and researching a range of issues such as deforestation. We are hoping to visit the London Zoo and explore the newly revamped rainforest section!  

Throughout the second half of the Summer term, Year 5 will be studying Vikings.  We will be looking at their lifestyle and how they survived. We will be making our own Viking ships and take part in a Viking Day where a visitor will be coming to see us.  That means we will all be dressing up and acting like Vikings for the day- what fun!
